Termite Control
Wood Destroying Insect/Termite Inspections
Most often performed when a home is in the process of being bought or sold, Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections are an important part of a real estate transaction. Just as you wouldn’t buy a house without a home inspection to ensure you don’t encounter any major surprises, you shouldn’t buy a house without a WDI termite inspection for the same reason.
Treatments
At Branded Pest Defense, we offer several options for termite treatments. These include baiting systems, liquid treatments, and pretreatments.
Termite baiting systems work by installing bait stations into the ground at regular intervals around the exterior perimeter of your home. When termites find the bait, they bring it back to the colony, spreading it to every member and eventually eliminating them all.
Liquid treatments involve digging a trench in the soil around the exterior perimeter of your house, applying a liquid treatment, then filling the trench back in. When termites cross the treated area, they unwittingly pick it up and bring it back to their colony, where it can spread to all the other termites. We can also apply liquid treatments to areas of your home that show signs of termite activity.
Termite pretreatments are ideal for homes in the process of being built. We offer pretreatments on the ground where your foundation will be, as well as the interior studs.
With our termite control services for your home, we recommend yearly termite inspections. These inspections allow us to identify any issues in their earliest stages to ensure that our treatments are working as intended to keep your house termite-free.
